Bio
The unexpected events of 2020 forced many indie bands into early retirement, or on indefinite hiatus, but for the hard-working and ever-optimistic Melissa Quinn Fox, this was a time to be used to dive even deeper into her music career. A singer/songwriter from Pittsburgh, PA, with deep roots in both Country and Americana music, Melissa is known best for her story-driven songs and powerful vocals. Capturing the attention of her audience through her charismatic live performances, Melissa continues to inspire listeners to find gratitude in every moment.
Coming from an extensive background in Musical Theatre opened the door to Melissa playing many theme parks around the world, some notably in Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Arizona, Texas, and Germany. Growing up on a wide range of music styles, from pop to country to alternative-rock to Americana and more, Melissa draws her inspiration from the likes of Stevie Nicks, Sarah Maclachlan, Faith Hill, and Natalie Merchant.
Melissa uncovered her true passion for music while singing in the children's choir at her church, even teaching herself how to play the acoustic guitar in the process.
A member of ASCAP and the Songwriters Guild of America, Melissa has recently released her latest single ‘Give It a Try’, an upbeat Country-pop song about taking a chance on meeting someone new in these strange social times.
In 2021, listeners can expect to hear more from Melissa Quinn Fox as she is currently hard at work on her latest EP and booking more live venues to play.
